Megan Yankee, MFA, LMT is a rural, first-generation mestiza massage therapist, retired dancer, and movement coach. Her pain interventions are driven by a professional focus on ethics/consent, light-medium-deep tissue Swedish massage, and traditional acupressure therapies. Thanks to the plentiful healing she's personally experienced when applying the most basic principles of Curanderismo, Chinese Medical Massage/Tui Na, and Marma therapies, she primarily studies and advocates for these traditional practices. She also embodies two decades of movement and experiential (western) anatomy knowledge, which she leverages to support clients with relaxation, pain management, and professional/athletic optimization. Her practice is consent-driven, trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, as well as all-ability and 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly. License # MT-2023-0190.
